In accordance with the norms of the Diocese of Brooklyn, preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist is a two year formation program that generally takes place in the first and second grades.  Students must be enrolled in St. Bernard Catholic School or the parish Religious Education program. 

Special preparation sessions are available for those students who are beyond these grades and are still in need of the sacraments, and RCIA is available for adults.
