The RCIA program is a faith journey designed for adults who wish to become fully initiated members of the Catholic Church. The spirit and teachings of the Catholic faith are shared in weekly classes that include song, prayer and dialogue. Priests, Deacons, religious and lay people from our parish share their knowledge about the Catholic faith in the areas of the sacraments; the tenets of the Catholic Church; the liturgical year, sacred scripture; Our Blessed Mother, the saints, and the social ministries of the Catholic faith. RCIA classes begin each September and culminate in the celebration of the sacraments (Baptism, Eucharist, and/or Confirmation) at the Easter Vigil.
Class is held in the Parish House on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:30 a.m.
If you are interested in receiving more information about these classes, or to register, please contact Deacon Frank D’Accordo in the Rectory Office at 718‑763‑5533.
