Rosary Society

One of the most powerful groups in our parish is the one dedicated to Our Lady.  The Rosary Society is a group of women getting together to do good things for our parish and the faithful near and far.

The group meets the 1st Sunday of the month (Oct – June), at the 10:00 a.m. Mass, after which they say the Rosary and have their meeting in the parish hall.

The group consists of approximately 70 members of various ages.  All members pay $12.00  yearly dues.

This group has done wonderful things.  Recently, the Rosarians donated a new Tabernacle for the Daily Mass Chapel.  Bishop James Massa blessed it (see photo below.)  They have built a house in Jamaica, sent cash to New Orleans for a family devastated by “Katrina”,  given donations to Project Smile,  and sponsored children in Mexico – one of which is now graduating high school.  The Rosarians have a baby shower every year to support moms in need; the items collected go to “Hour Children.”  They have two luncheons a year where husbands and significant others are invited.  They are always a wonderful event for the parish.

If you would like to be a part of the Rosary Society,  it’s easy.  You only need to attend the 10:00 a.m. Mass on the 1st Sunday of the Month.  Afterward, head over with the group to the Hall for the meeting where you will be asked for the $12.00 dues for the year’s meetings, and you are then a part of a great Society dedicated to Our Lady.
