When we sing in Church, God in His Heavenly Kingdom, smiles. We at St. Bernard have also been smiling through the years to have had such a dedicated and talented Music Ministry. 

Currently our Music Ministry is made up of two groups: the Adult Choir and the Contemporary Youth Ensemble. Our Adult Choir is 22 members strong, made up of individuals from various backgrounds and ranging from the age of 12 to 80+ years young. The Choir sings every Sunday at the 10:00am Mass and throughout the year for Feast Days and special occasions. The Adult Choir rehearses every Thursday evening in Church from 7:30pm – 9:00pm.  

 

Our Contemporary Youth Ensemble sings and plays at the 11:30am Mass, bringing an uplifting, hand clapping, and sometimes rocking praise to God. This group of mostly teenagers under the direction of Gerard Connelly minister together with their combination of instruments which include percussion, guitar, bass, viola, violin, keyboards, organ, and piano. The Contemporary Youth Ensemble will be certain to have you walking out of Church uplifted and inspired! They rehearse twice a month after 11:30am Mass for about 45 minutes.
