St. Bernard Clairvaux Church

Mission Statement

Saint Bernard Parish is a Eucharistic community, nurtured by Sacraments and Scripture, which promotes gospel values and engages in the evangelizing mission of Jesus Christ. We dedicate ourselves to protecting life at every state and to embrace good stewardship of our time, talent, and treasure in support of our parish ministries. We seek to foster in our members a strong family life, lifelong faith formation, commitment to service, peace, and justice advocacy, respect for diversity and a spirit of harmony and reconciliation.

There are about 28 weeks left in 2018.

Still plenty of time to make your gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal!

For the cost of a Quarter Pounder, Fries and a Shake (app. $10), you can supply a needy family with 3 meals for 3 days from Parish Food Banks in our Diocese.   For a $50 gift, you can supply a family with 3 meals for 15 days!   $100 can feed them for a month!

Participation for our parish is only 8.5% and we have reached our goal in Pledges (only a little more and we will be over goal in receipts!  Once that happens, all monies received come back to the parish for our general use!)

Imagine if every family – almost 1,600 – gave something to the Appeal.
There is no gift too large or too small!

Please consider making your pledge today.  There are envelopes at the back of the Church for your convenience.  If you have questions, call the Parish House!

Thank You!    Thank You!    Thank You!

Monthly 50/50 Raffle

Blank yellow envelopes for the monthly drawings are available at the doors of the church for those who would like to participate but do not receive monthly envelopes in the mail.  Contribution is $25 and the proceeds will be used for the current renovation and rebuilding of the parish facilities.

Winner takes home half the amount collected for the given month. Drawings are held the last Sunday of each month.
